Through Her Eyes

Barbara Bush was not only a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and First Lady of the United States; she also had a keen eye as a photographer. Behind the lens, she grew to have a passion for photographing moments of love and laughter.

She endeavored to capture vivid, colorful images of her hero, George Bush — as well as their children, grandchildren, loyal canine companions, and the stunning landscape of Kennebunkport. Her photography gives life to the intimate moments shared with her remarkable family and to all that she treasured most.

Barbara Bush traveled the world, but like the woman herself her photos were without pretense and always close to home.
